It's hard to describe what the BB is in a few words. Stats are 26/12/0, hasn't folded in either blind (four orbits). I've seen him barrel big flop and turn IP with QTo on AJ9r 4h, give up on 3 river. I've also seen him check/call with 34ss on 677hh in a three-way single raised pot, 8d checked around and he pots an A river first to act, showing cards when both people fold.
His AF is 67% on the turn and 80% on the river which is why this is kind of ugly, because we are semi-deep. The check/minraise can be anything from Tx to TT.
What's the best turn line? Shipping it in gets called by AT, TT, T8, AJ, and mayyybe AQ/AK. Folding seems dirty but knowing I'm going to have to call most blank rivers is not that appealing either. Effective stack after his turn bet is around $51.

Easy call. He seems to be v-betting an A or two pair. Sets are hard to flop, no reason for 97 to not shove river. Don't think he would c/r flop with AJ, with AK likely. He might even show up with TJ here who knows. Most importantly he's giving you insane odds on the river, you only have to be good 1/4 of the time. Even if his range includes 97 and all sets/higher two pairs it's still a call.

Don't see AK ever playing this way. I completely agree with folding the turn and I think now you should call river but it's still pretty thin. |
