I know this is immoral and I'm not saying I am going to do this, but I was wondering....

I have about ~$600 on FTP right now. If I per say cashed out the $600 gave it to a friend and he put $600 to get the 100% matching bonus and I played on his account to clear it. Would it be more profitable to that with a refer-a-friend bonus on top playing 25NL or would it be more profitable to receive 27% RB playing 25NL?

I'm too lasy to do the math for you, but in general - it should be more profitable to play for rakeback.

should be more profitable .. if you can get away with it. It's a decent hussle for building an early BR

its not immoral its a multi billion dollar poker company that gets the profits. they're hardly making a loss or they wouldn't offer it. and instead of playing for ur friend once and clearing the bonus, you should create new accounts under every family member you have and clear several $600 bonuses. FTP won't do anything as long as you can send in ID on the rare chance they ask for it. legitimately why can't your family members play. everyone has a right to make their own account, yep, including your mom. that's what i would do.

the only shady side i see to it is fooling the stats and database system other people would normally have on you, but thats a whole new can of worms.

The humor in this for me is that it is adding together a single number and then a number with two letters to see if it is higher or lower than 27.

Lets see..deposit bonus is around 42% RB if you play SNGS or tournaments... depends on your style at cgs, refer a friend is what 2% extra?

Can someone tell OP which number is higher because he shouldn't be making any math decisions right now.

Taco you spent way too much time on that graph, but thank you for the info.

If you get caught, you get $0. No bonus, and including your deposit amounts, and your account gets closed, and his accounts get closed.

Chance of getting caught? Not likely, but still a possibility.

If I was born in 1970 and used mspaint to create it I estimate a pro would do it in about 250 seconds+ 8 seconds uploading
Since I was born in the 1990s I just used an online editing program and did it all in about ~25 if you exclude the time it took to find one.

And you're welcome

it's not really immoral since you're not really hurting anyone by doing this. I've done this at least four times and built a sizable roll off this system.

This is a dumb question as one can get both the first time deposit bonus and rakeback. FTP does deduct rakeback from your bonus; but not 100% so it's most profitable to get both.
