Not only are there 3 aces out, but in a 4bet pot we also have 2 of the kings, reducing AK to 2 combos.

Cry Havoc and let slip the Dogs of War.

yeah. villain holds two cards. he totally holds the one other ace left in the deck.

c/f obv. villain has quads

Although you should be happy with KK here, judging by your reaction I can tell you don't realize that combinatorically villain can show up with quads a lot here.

...ed is not trying to level you

and jolin's comment shouldn't be met with sarcasm considering he posts solid, consistent advice in the low stakes forums

no one else checks flop?

I would, there's no way to put him on a hand yet, people will make more mistakes when they think you don't have the ace, you'll induce a lot of bluffs if you just check here. You have the deck crippled and dominated if he does not have an ace and an aggressive opponent who will try to shove you off of you check=easy trap most of the time.

nah i realize i made a mistake here, wasnt thinking right. theres more combos of QQ than AQ, more combos of JJ than AJ, etc. so we should be pretty happy with getting the rest of the money in.

i dont see why you post this in every thread. if you run into the nuts its still fine to question if there are enough other hands in the villains range to get it in.

well also i don't think those pairs raise anywhere, they should flat flat falt, trying to pick off a very infrequent bluff. i guess sometimes they say fuck it and jam, but if i got raised i would kinda be upset

huh? sarcasm? obv. villain has the only other ace in the deck in the 4bet pot or else this hand wouldn't have been posted. don't you know that probably 80%+ of hands posted are people getting coolered?

that has nothing to do with the fact that villain does have Ax more often than people think.

His 4bet is gooood. Not often a microstakes player makes a well-sized 4bet. It's to 24bb and he got the guy to call with a most likely worse hand. I guess you could make it around 25-26bb or so, but this is totally fine.

Now just bet 1/2pot on flop and turn and shove river.

zulu_nation8   United States. Aug 13 2010 21:10. Posts 1929

he made it 20bbs but yea i usually 4bet to 25bbs unless the 4bet is huge then i make it a bit bigger, usually like 2.3x or something.

X rgfdxm   United States. Aug 14 2010 00:36. Posts 1514

The 4bet was to $2.40, not $2.00.

Twisted is right, the hh converter is a bit screwy for some sites.
