** High Stakes Hand of the Week ** - 7/20 - 8/2
This hand was played by our poster AndrewSong in a $3/$6 No-Limit game. Holding 43 of hearts in the BB, Andrew calls a raise from villain, who is UTG. The flop comes and gives 2nd pair to Andrew, who checks. Villain fires a 3/4 pot c-bet and gets raised by Andrew. Villain 3-bets and our hero calls. An falls on the turn, and once again Andrew checks, as if asking villain to bluff over. That's exactly what happens, as villain shoves all-in. Unfortunately for him, our hero makes a brave call and shows his pair, while villain shows for an inside straight draw. The river is a King, which effectively gives andrew the $1,200 pot!

Runner-up: HeRoS)eNGagE is playing a 4-handed $2/$4 NLHE game really, and I mean REALLY deepstacked. After some aggressive preflop action, 3 players, including Engage, who posted the SB, see the flop. Engage fires a c-bet and gets shoved over by philbbak. Massacre_ folds and, in spite of holding no pair our hero calls. Villain turns up A-8 of diamonds and has his hand dominated. Fortunately for our hero, his bravery paid off as the board didn't help his opponent.
