JR is 28/26.
very Laggish, opens alot, 3bets alot- 23% (11/48 sample), and even seen 4bet light and call 4bets light.
darogio is 29/26 7% 3bet (2/29), has been active too. he's pretty solid and seems aware to stack sizes, resteal ranges etc.

hand 1 is a snap call
hand 2 u shouldn't open shove, with 20bb you can still raise in early position and fold if a nit 3bets you but against this guy I snap so quick that a brake my mouse

20 bb in hand 1, I think it's a call anyway given the dynamic. I hate calling that deep with a hand like AJ, but it can't be bad really either.

I don't like calling with AJ in hand 1 but since you're at like 9bb it's fine to ship
hand 2 is def a fold

edit:
I'm a retard and misread the blinds. Hand 1 is def a fold to a 3 bet

Hand 1 is an easy shove using those stats, especially since JR calls 4bets light. Even if he called tightly you might still be fine calling although ICM could swing the decision.
Hand 2 if the guy is 10% 3bet, and you raised UTG, looks like an easy enough fold.

hand 1 is like 20 bb effective vs SB and 40+ bb effective vs the original raiser

Srsly... hand1 is a fold; sure its a 20bb ship, but ur stack is ~50bb and there is no reason to get it in with AJ given the action.

Hand2 is a borderline fold imo, don't really care either way though, depends on more reads. I fold 80% i think.

Pretty sure if we ISO shove AJ we won't get called more than like 5% of the time from the button's opening range, although folding is definitely safer, I think a shove is better.

well I might fold the first considering I would assume I was best at the table and get chips easier. but with those reads you gave it sounds way +ev to get it in

nitttttttttt Come on, AJ crushes his SB resteal range vs BTN open.

I think most agree both spots are prob +EV
I guess this is an $EV-vs-cEV decision, Im always the worst at taking ICM into account and all that stuff.
Considering we are 10-15 players left, and that places 10-15th get like 300$, and first gets 10K$~: should these be easy folds?

If it is very skewed towards the top it means you should NOT fold?

I'm all for accumulating chips for the final table, ppl shouldn't be scared in these final stages since the payout is so top-heavy(top3 that is) and we play these MTT's to win them, not to get blinded down to 9th or something.

But i think hand1 is as fold, unless the players with you are solid then you can snapshove it.
