Soo, I'm browsing the web from work as I do every morning and while going through the main event updates from yesterday, I take a look at the chip counts and see a familiar name up top:

Afaik, that is LP's very own Myth, and players in the ME start with 30k chips, which means he has been absolutely fucking crushing day 1! GJ to him and let's hope he keeps running good and playing good.

So this is the FIRST day of play and it only has 1,100 entries? And there's four 'Day 1s' so can we expect at most 5,000 players?

Seems like it took a huge ass drop from last year.

usually first day is the one with less entries
im sure day c or d will get have 2k entries, so i'd expect something aroudn 6k players

he's terrible but allllll the fish are TERRIFIED of him. for example i was playing with him in some bellagio 5k small tournament, and he was running like 50/40 raising every hand, then he opens J3cc utg (showed me his hand after it's over, i'm to his left) and gets 2 callers, including a woman in the bb. flop Q62 she checks, grinder bets, other guy folds, she calls. turn 7 and she check/folds AA face-up, and says, "i dunno i'm just so scared to play a pot with you. i just don't even wanna continue with aces"

and everyone else at the table just nods like "yeah that's understandable"

why do you think the fish are scared of him? Is he an intimidating type of guy, his aggressive style of play against them, or just the fact that he's a known poker pro?
