simple question

So I've thought for a long time my post flop play in shorthanded plo is really good, but have been noticing recently that I must be doing it wrong. The major leaks I have is with aces, strong or weak, after the flop. On the standard flop, like J/4/2, if I am oop, am I supposed to pot/near pot it here? I keep running into re-pots, and on such dry boards it doesn't feel great to fold, but I always find myself up against a smaller set. I feel like such a noob asking, but are you supposed to dump it when they play back at you? I've recently moved up in limits and am encountering huge amounts of flatting preflop, then 3betting on flop. Any answers?

I wish I could help more but this question is very broad. Each situation is different. I mean if i lead with aces on a dry flop and get raised by a NIT its an easy fold, but against a maniac I will be happy getting it in. Also it depends if you take the flop hu or multi way. My best advice is to take notes and keep track of who is raising flops with draws/air and who always has the nuts when they raise.

YA I TALK SHIT, GOTTA DEFECATE TO CONVERSATE
