Looking for long-term MTT players to Stake - Page 2

I can play everything from $22s to $200s on saturdays and sundays, perhaps fridays too. During the week I can play 20 minimum each day if you combine PS and FTP.

5) Why you are looking to get backed
Because I currently can't afford to play the MTTs I like which are all the $55s, the $109s and the big sundays. I had $200k in winnings and $70k profit in 2007 and 2008, including a Pokerstars sponsorship to play a LAPT. Due to personal issues in 2009 I couldn't play the way I did the previous yesterday even though I still shipped a few big tournaments. I also had to use most of my bankroll in paying for my college and help my family with money. In addition to that, I couldn't find the proper time to focus and re-grind the MTTs and eventually lost to the MTTs variance.

Things are a little bit different now in 2010 and I've been looking for a good tournament stake.

6) What your expectations for getting staked are
Being able to re-build a solid bankroll again.

TimDawg888: I had a short-term stake with him to play mostly on the weekends and some WCOOP events (I played 6-7 events and cashed 4 times) last year. He ended up probably about $5K up after I shipped a $100 for $13k.

Baal: I met Baal in a LAPT and we've been friends for quite a while now. We currently manage the latin brother of LiquidPoker. I also had a cash-stake with him for NL50 and we both made about $3k in profit.

I have many friends in LiquidPoker, even though I haven't talked to them in a long time (due to my fading in 2009), but I still check LP on a daily basis.

8) Any other information you think may be pertinent for me to know.

• I've been Supernova for three years in a row.
  
• If I were to describe myself I would say: loyal, honest, responsible and a good friend.
  
• I've never been involved in scamming scandals or anything similar.
  
• I had a sponsorship from PokerStars to play LAPT Mexico in December of 2008. It got cancelled after starting as you probably heard but I was still alive in the tourney and cashed $7k along with the other 90 players remaining from the 250 that started.
  
• I am friend of Team PokerStars PRO Angel Guillen and Team Online Pro Martha Herrera that can also vouch for me.

Important accomplishments or Final Tables:

• 1st place in the Nightly $100k, January 2008.
  
• 8th place in the Sunday 500, October 2008
  
• 2 x 1st places in the $55 Nightly 70k, July and November 2008.

5) Why you are looking to get backed: I just finished my bachelors degree and due to that I haven't been able to focus on playing for most of 2010, additionally I don't have the financial means to properly start the grind atm.


6) What your expectations for getting staked are: I'm competitive and driven and I believe I could make both parties some money. I demand my best of myself at all times and that's what I expect to do.

I believe I have the ability to be a quite profitable player. I've had ok-ish results while going through school, but school work has severely limited the time I've had available to play. I played a live 1500 euro MTT in Spain through fulltilt poker where I got 18th/216 for 3k euro.

I can play at least 40. I could play everything on party poker on saturdays and sundays.

5) Why you are looking to get back

Mainly cuase I dont have the money to grind tournies that go over 10 dls. I think I have a decent edge on tournament poker. Since I suck at cash games this would be a great opportunity for me to build a roll for grinding big tournies.

Did anyone actually get staked by this guy or is he just trolling?
Seriously, look at strato's resume, i'd stake him in no time if i had the money.
Besides a good player, everyone says he's legit and a standup guy.
