Game is a 3 blind 10/20/40 game. Villan in the hand is incompetent in all the wrong ways, yet convinces himself that he's the greatest thing that has ever happened to the poker community. Very hard to fully describe our history since he's basically a nit who spazzes the fuck out sometimes, and I've previously caught him in some lol pots where his line has made no sense and he has been running one of his epic spazz bluffs. With that said, I think he's actually a winner in these games. Lol live poker :-p
Big fish ($4,000) limps in early positions, Villan ($7500) limps behind in middle positions. I am in CO with and raise to $220 because fuck them. Big fish folds and Villan makes a very fast call. Putting his range here as very wide given that he's aware that I isolate this spot very wide.
Flop comes
Villan checks, and I check behind
Turn comes
Villan checks, I bet $450, Villan now check raises to $900. O_O... I call.
River comes
Villan tanks for a full minute then checks. I bet $1200. Villan thinks for a full 5 minutes in the most zZz Hollywood time bank ever, then check-raises to $3,200.
Normally I find this a very quick and fast fold. But... this motherfucker... wtf

| Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol | |

This guy is first and foremost a nit. A little loose preflop, passive but randomly spazzy post flop. Doesn't like to get fucked with.
Again, very hard to fully describe what goes on in this idiots mind.
vs such a player what do u guys think about the $1200 river bet. More I think about it, more I hate it, but I dunno if thats just me not being able to looks away from the result of what happened.
This hand makes me feel like I got randomly owned |

my 1st instinct is to call, i mean hes thinking way too long, i don't think if he had a monster he would be able to wait that much to get his money, hes prob just thinking about what you can have and getting his balls together for a bluff, plus his raise doesn't make a lot of sense for a valueraise in my eyes, i would think he makes it a bit bigger with his monsters, because you are only calling with good hands anyway |

yea... these same exact thoughts use to go through my head... and 100 failed soul reads later I figured out I was just levelling myself.
Initially, given his line, I felt that nothing beats me on river here :-P / on rare occation I value cut myself vs slightly better two pairs with the $1200 value bet on the river. My only concern is how many hands are worse that he will call $1200 on river with, and I think there isnt much in that range that plays like that on turn. Prolly bad river bet. I still feel pretty fucking dirty to have to check behind here thou zZz |
