Ok so i had no special history or anything. I am seen as a solid reg. The villain is a well known 5knl reg but pretty nitty imo

My question is...

what do you think his range is... and how likely is he to have played each hand in that fashion. (make sure to take note of the bet sizes)

For instance... there maybe be X combos of [?,?] hand and there may be 2*X combos of another hand but the one with fewer combos is more likely because of the way it was played. Also what do you think villain should call with if I shove, and what should he fold

2ndly, what should I call with, what should i shove with, and what should I fold

I know most people won't follow these criteria but for the few who do, thank you and I appreciate it.

Here is something to copy paste to make it easy:

(__%) <---- this is the % of time they would play that hand in that fashion... nothing to do with the number of combinations of that hand

Villain can have (the ranges can be multiple hands as long as the % they would play them in that fashion is the same):
Range 1: (__%)
Range 2: (__%)
Range 3: (__%)
Range 4... (__%)

What is the minimum hand villain should call with if we shove: (___)

Our hand
What is the minimum hand we should shove:
What is the minimum hand we should call with:

... process of deduction obviously tells us what we will fold

K off the top of my head since you asked me...

...without any reads I'm not going to assume someone will play X hand a certain %, so I will say the the line he took will be 100% of the time until I note otherwise.

Villains range: T8s, KTs, KTo

Theoretically villain should never call a shove if we are shoving for value, so it's based entirely on our bluffing frequency.

We shove KT and better for value.
We don't call anything.

This is just totally off the top of my head and theoretical.

ok simpler format for lazy pplz who otherwise won't post

what would u call with
what would u raise with

if u were villain what hands would u play like that...
if u were villain and were shoved on, what would u call with

I dunno if I can have 9x I'd call that because I think he can valueraise worse, I think he has a range consistant of most straights (I don't think he barrels too much with weakish draws on that card since he'll have to many semi-bluffs anyway and your range picks up a little bit of equity if you float lightish), 44 some of the time and maybe something like KQ/AQ a low % of the time (the suited ones should be a little bit less likely since half of them are super strong on the turn and probably barrels). If your timing was weird or if he feels frisky he might have a pure air bluff or two here too.

I think we need to know what range he raises the button with and how often he barrels different streets to be able to give a better answer.

I think I'm fairly conservative with shoving here since I feel he has KT and 44 a whole bunch but I'd ship any full house and lower then that it depends on all that gameflow/timing/whatever that we can't know about.

i dont know, but i'm amused by your re-write of all player names and the descriptions, even of players that folded pre esp. sick nit but good reg

doubt he ever has 44 there....

so his range shud be limited to T8, KT and maybe a weirdly played QQ wanting to pot control..... but not so likely I suppose... or could be air cuz he perceives you as fairly weak there, I dunno.... your range with this 120$ bet can be fairly wide anyway..

Shoving over as a bluff is out of the question. I'd prob call with T8/KT in ur spot, and MAYBE 9x, I'd shove any full house cuz I really don't expect villain to have a fullhouse there ever except like i said some surprising QQ.. I think villain shud realistically not be eager to call a shove if he has a straight there, but I never expect anyone to make hero folds lol, people like to call much more

Im not sure what to do tomorrow when I see her, should I shake her hand?? -Floofy

What would you call with: Any pair. Bigger the nit, the more narrow his range is here so wtf... i call, I want to see his hand
What would you raise with: Almost nothing / QQ and 99. If he had KT/T8 and I don't expect him to hero fold those hands to a shove, I guess ship any boat. If this is the first time I see this w/ no previous reads, I think it's nice to see opponents hand here so the next time this happens I can better evaluate whether or not shoving as a bluff is suicide.

If you were villain what hands would you play like that: KT, then T8, not much else.
If you were villan and were shoved on, what would you call with: Everything that I raised river with that wasn't a bluff because it's probably a strong hand and fuck you.

Everyone needs to see that you are king of the castle - PoorUser

i would call QJ, i think a solid reg is value-raising river with his QJ and maybe AQ, along with a few bluffs mainly since his preflop range is so wide and they cant resist, not cuz its a good play. I would shove as hero with KT always cuz there's a ton of value to be had from T8 and villain would have to be sickly nitty to have a boat on the river. I think shoving T8 for value would be close, but shoving worse is a bit bad. As villain I just call KT.
