nah no one folds overpairs in these. i would just peal and get value when you hit. If you know he's solid or full of shit a lot here i would try the ship. but a big bet in multiway pot followed by another strong bet = overpair that he prob won't fold at this level. Make sure you bet on like A rivers for value as well as on river 5's as a bluff and check back other brick rivers

heh i almost typed out that if HE bets an A river we should probably fold but bet if checked to, so i guess i'll stick with that theory and fold the river here.

Set/Straight - He cant bet river with TT/JJ/QQ/KK because you are very likely to call his flop and turn bets with Ax hands or draws. So if he checks to us on river we can likely make a small value bet but fold to a raise.

I am a degen. Do not believe in any of my advice.Last edit: 12/05/2010 09:49

So he raised pf with JT and cbet 4-way with a gutshot? He either has an overpair or a set imo. Also, without the flush draw, wouldn't we insta-muck hands like AJ on the flop? Do we call flop with A4? A5? Do we call preflop with A7?

Btw I'm not arguing or anything, but it's an interesting hand and imho discussion = +EV.

Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol

Turn is fine but when he leads river, I don't think he's betting something we beat.
