Hand from KingDan's POV. Hero doesn't have very much history with Villan other than introducing himself to Villan as KingDan23. Hero most likely assumes Villan as an young online regular that has been playing live poker all month. Previous history: Villan has 3bet a couple times previously in position vs the tighter regs to his right. Hero has 3bet Villan twice before this hand happens, and Villan talks about how he's due to play a 20k pot w Hero.

Hero is sitting with $11k, Villan covers.

Tighter regular opens UTG to $80, Villan reraises to $280 in MP. Hero is dealt As Js flat calls. Tight regular folds.

Flop comes: Qd 7s 6s (Pot: $700)
Villan quickly bets $500. Hero calls.

Turn comes: Qd 7s 6s Kh (Pot: $1700)
Villan thinks for a bit then bets $1200. Hero tanks for a bit then calls. (Thoughts on Hero's call here?)

River comes: Qd 7s 6s Kh Ks (Pot: $4100)
Villan thinks for a minute then checks. Hero tanks then bets $2800 (Thoughts on Hero's river decision / bet size?)

Villan tanks for 2-3 minutes then moves all-in. Hero...

i don't think i'm folding this against a capable online reg with deep stacks. Turn call is meh, AJ could easily still be the best hand and you might be able to check-back and win against straight draws that don't 3barrel. River bet-sizing seems standard but with the dynamic at the table I feel like I would value-bet AQ if I'm hero to get called by worse Q's and mid pairs, so hero's range isn't as narrow as boats and flushes as it normally would be. Also it would be hard for hero to get to this river with a bluff. Would have to double-float the villain with some random shit in his hand.

With that said this is just a leveling contest, and since half the time you'll probably be on the wrong level I would just call this because you don't know if the villain might overvalue Q9ss or something like that and ship it on you bc of the J high and T high flushes in your range, or think that he can make you fold a flush, even the A high. It's a tough spot but I think folding can't be right.

Yea, agreed, this spot is a massive levelling war imo

i like to take a chip rack and slam it on my hand before i call. To keep my mind from thinking about the pain i feel.

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, by running away from the scene of an accident.

pretty sick, but i think villain's bluffing range and value range is wider than it normally is here so i also call. raise flop as well imo.
