Game is 20/40 w $100 dead ante in the bb. Before you say my preflop raise size is too small, I made several of my original opens to $260 then kepted tweaking bet sizing down til finally I told myself I wasn't going below $200. The rest of my table is still opening for $120-140 and getting the same results since apparently nobody realizes that there is $100 extra dead in every hand. Whatever.

The main Villan in hand is a tight nut peddling commerce regular w sunglasses (prolly in his 30s) who seems to call a lot of hands preflop but plays tight post flop / doesn't run many bluffs and is pretty passive w his draws from what I've seen. Second Villan in the hand is named Viktor, old guy with a ton of money and is seen as the spot at the table, his HUD stats would prolly look like 70/5. Huge station, runs some spazzy bluffs but usually in smaller pots.

I'm sitting with $11k, both players have me cover.

Fold to me in the hijack, I pick up AsAc and raise to $200. Viktor calls on the button. Villan in bb calls.

Flop comes: QcJh7d (Pot: $720)
Villan in the bb now leads for $400. I call (who likes raise?). Viktor calls.

Turn comes QcJh7d 9d (Pot: $1920)
Villan in bb now leads for $1400. I ...

fold is easy enough, just muck it and move on to the next one. (you can't lose what you don't put in the middle?) lol. board is kinda nasty, I wouldn't hate a raise on flop to iso vs the "spot" and if he like snaps it off you know if he just has a QT type hand and you can barrel for value. It's gonna make it a lot easier to play the hand. The way you played it I would just fold the turn because it's going to put you in a shitload of bad river spots (and turn squeeze spots vs the passive guy) and you can just avoid the hassle by folding now.

viktor is either retarded nit or retarded spew depending on his mood

this spot is sick because if you flat viktor is calling 100% with his possible range on that turn lol

ur stack size makes this hand homo

i like a small raise on the flop, as played i probably fold since half+ the deck is bad for you on the river and you probably won't get a free showdown

the guy firing doesnt seem to care that the straight+some 2 pair combos completed, my guess is he probably has QJ or Q9

even passive nits lead with open ended tho so KT is def possible

the bb isnt supposed to post an ante?

personally i flat and re-eval, easy fold to another bullet from the nit reg and i guess its easy to know what Viktor has too, but the call is close.

it's just $100 the bb throws dead in the middle to basically be as if every player at the table is ante'ing but makes it easy on the dealer. BB antes it in most games instead of the button because that way you can't just get up for ur BB and get dealt back in without posting the ante, you'd have to repost the blinds plus the ante and dead SB. Common in games >10-20.

lol, the bb antes so that each player doesn't have to ante every hand. Not that tough to understand (:
