So I was finishing the session and just mindlessly autopiloted thru this hand. I think if I had paid more attention I wouldnt lead the flop with these stacks especially but rather C/C or C/R. Villian is pretty aggro and loose from the little Ive seen but he isnt a donk, so I think this is just a big spew. I guess as played with the donklead its a fold? I mean not enough odds to call and very little implied if any and to shove seems like suicide given the texture, stacks and his raise on this board with ADZ left to act etc
Im not really sure whats the best way to play but I guess C/C is the best line against a standartish aggro reg with little history? thoughts ?

i perfer 3bet and i am curious about c/c or c/r i wonder what other people think of peoples cbetting ranges in this spot and how strong it is. Also what they think people will fold here.

I'm NEVER calling here preflop. Seems like a very bad play, you're only calling to hit spades trips or two pair. There's is not enough value in your hand. Totally butchered preflop imo.
I'd squeeze once in a while but most of the times folding is totally standard preflop.

i actually fold preflop unless i am confident that:
my squeezes are getting plenty of respect at this table / right now
or
even if called the pot will be easy to play +EV postflop (e.g. villains are going to play mostly weak/honest when they flat)

postflop is ok
id probably mix it up between bet/shove, c/c and c/r. Yeah ur probably just a little too deep to do what u did but I wouldnt call it a spew.

i feel like that 4x raise on the flop vs someone competent and probably not creative with adz still behind makes it pretty clear that we only have fd outs, and sometimes an ace. leading flop is fine but its not like you have to b/3b allin just because you have a fd

Because I feel its just a mindless play, the more I thought about it this is not a good spot to lead with such a hand because when stacks go in my A is clearly never live and best case scenario is prolly him having the straight, obv there is some slight margin for other hands (and I have a couple runner straights) but not very likely given stacks, board texture and positions. I guess tho this is a direct result of flatting pre, which I dont hate that much if I just c/c this flop I dont think it would be that bad.
