Depends on my actual image, prolly a fold though.

there is a light at the end of the tunnel... (but sometimes the tunnel is long and deep as hell)

i meant readless in the current spot as villain is not the initial raiser, villain called the raise from the fish and then fish folded to my 3bet, and villain cold called

this is kindof important since it means you are more likely to have a hand

Aight I didnt notice the shortie, but still it feels somewhat icky with 0 reads it just seems like shoveling a bunch of money in and then going and now what?

Daut    United States. Nov 18 2009 11:20. Posts 8955

it feels like a shove to me.

i doubt hes flatting a big hand vs the fish and then flatting a 2nd time with TT-KK, aces is always possible but he would probably try to get hu with fishy with aces also.

and if he does happen to play tt or jj like that (nobody is playing qq or kk like this ever) i think either
a) he wouldnt raise the flop or
b) he mighttttt not raise call it off for almost 150bb so its possible you could get the one better hand to fold??? (obv a stretch but i think a) is the most important part)

a 7 or 66 most likely flats the flop in case you whiffed, so i think hes full of shit and i shove. i really think this is the best play by a lot. you cant flat as its too easy for him to outdraw with hands like JTs KJs QTs, and since its too unlikely he actually has a hand shove is the only option.

two other small things. one is his raise size is pretty good to make with dogshit on this board planning to fold to a shove.

and two is you have pretty damn good equity vs 89 and 45 because its a paired board, so if his range is (89,45) 50% and (66,7x, AA) 50% then you are 40%. you are getting 580+400+400+2050= 3430:2050, which is well over 1.5:1 so vs an entire range of only getting it in you are winning money if half of it is a draw (very possible its that or higher) and i think you have a good amount of fold equity so this seems very +EV

I'd shove but I'd be fairly sad in my belly.

he probably have 98 enough for a shove to be profitable, if u were 100bbs deep its a fold cuz 98 isnt a big part of his range

btw pretty standard for PAPAPOKAFACE to flat QQ+ on the button vs the fish tho, esp if the fish will fold a lot to 3 bet, but will spew postflop and/or the blinds are aggro
