They count points as $0.005 value and deduct that from your MGR. So if you're gonna spend 40k points, it is valued $200 (normally the real store price is lower), which is deducted from your MGR (so your MGR is $200 lower than if you wouldn't buy it). 27% of that is what you'd normally get in rakeback, but now you don't get that. So you'll effectively pay $54 for the item. If you think it's worth more than $54, go for it, if not (say you're gonna get something just to use the points but you dont really need it), just keep your points and don't get your MGR reduced
With this you can just compare the items in the store with the price you pay in Wal-Mart, Amazon, etc, and see what's the best value, what discount you get by paying it with points, etc. |

Thanks for this - very useful. Will keep points and not buy random shit then until I really want it! |

I have bought and they decrease depending on there points value but never decrease percentage for example I bought an iPod once they did minus 150$ but I think points are worth more now so maybe it's less |

They deduct $5 for every 1000 points spent in the FTP store. Check my blog, I posted all the known FTP fees that I got from my RB site. |

Is that Sony 40-inch LCD TV worth getting? It's getting great reviews on Amazon... I don't have a TV ( I download everything lawls ) and wanted to purchase one for maybe some PS3/360 action.
It's priced at like 180k FTP points. |

this also completely worth getting the 40", it's a nice tv
also for anyone in the future wondering about returns. For electronics contact CDW (the company full tilt orders electronics from), they will fully handle the return and overnight you a replacement product. |
