1.116 - 4.000 already confirmed but they are expecting many more late regs for 1C and 1D. They still think they will have a littler bit less than last year but not much less than last year. |

Lol, they totally made a secret of the totall amount of players and only gave it to PokerNews since they (/we) are the official update guys. But since anyone can look at PokerNews the amount was 1 second later on every website of course. Still; PokerNews stays the best of course. |

Official Day 1C Numbers
The final count is in, and 1,697 players came out for Day 1C of the 2009 WSOP Main Event. That brings the total number of registered players over the first three days to 3,686.
By comparison, 2008's Day 1C attracted 1,928 players. In 2007 1,743 players started on Day 1C and in 2006 there were 2,160. |
