So I have played a few sessions since the new 5xFPP system took effect on 6-max tables. Over about 4k hands (typically a sufficient sample to judge this sort of thing), my VPP/hand was ~0.586. This number is significantly higher than the typical 0.48-0.5 range under the old system. It represents a roughly 17% increase, which is pretty huge. I would expect NL400 and NL600 to see huge gains as well since before NL400 and NL200 yielded pretty much equivalent VPPs, with NL400 slightly ahead.
Hopefully my results are not a statistical fluke. I'd be interested in seeing other people's numbers. |

seems higher at nl50 6max also, assuming that HM "stars vpps" is using the old formula |

I actually just kept track of VPPs I gained and divided that by the number of hands played |

edit: actually those numbers are meaningless, sample too small
i had a 0.26/hand where it stabilises at more like 0.2 over last month |

I saw a slight increase at 50nl as well, although my sample size is far to small to be certain. |

no it only applies to cashgames and the whole point is it more closely resembles the tournament system (5 vpps per dollar raked) |

The new tables use different layout/programming, HEM and PT3 just weren't synchronized with it.
I love the Idea of more RB on non HUD tables, and was kinda getting used to it too |

Just download the latest beta of HEM (if you're using HEM that is). It will fix the HUD for the new tables... not sure about PT3 |
