Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier raisd to 38,000 from middle position, and Joseph Cada reraised to 120,000 from the button. It folded back to ElkY, who after 20 seconds pushed the rest of his stack in. After the chips were counted down, it would be another 213,000 for Cada to call. Finally Cada decided to call. Grospellier turned over AhJd, and Cada KsJs . The flop was {Ts]4h3s . One more spade, and Grospellier's day was done. The turn was the 8c, and ElkY was still safe. The river was the 2h, and Grospellier doubles up to 675,000. Cada slips back to 227,000.

mig picked up some chips and took;

Praz Bansi moved all in before the flop with 8s 7c, and he was looked up by James "mig.com" Mackey. He turned over As Tc , having Bansi's tournament life in his hands. The community cards rolled out 7d 2d Qh Ah Jh , locking up the pot for mig.com and sending Bansi to the exit in 19th place. The last race against Sawitski cost the Brit most of his stack, and he couldn't overcome Mackey in the final hand, bringing his tournament to an end. With his departure, the remaining 18 players have been redrawn down to the final two tables.

With the action folded around to the blind, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier raised to 48,000 from the small. Next door, Joseph Cada counted out a re-raise, sliding 136,000 into the pot. Grospellier tanked for a little bit, shooting the occasional glance over at Cada and his chip stack. Finally, he began stacking out green chips and made a third raise to a total of 275,000. Cada quickly announced, "All in," and Elky had little choice but to make the call.
Showdown
ElkY: Ah Ts Cada: Jc Jh The news wasn't good for Grospellier, and it would get worse. The flop came Qc 3c 9c to give Cada the flush draw and reduce Elky's outs to two live aces. The 4d on the turn was a blank, and ElkY stepped back from the table with his fists clench. As if he willed it into fruition, the As slammed the river, drawing a big reaction from the table and the rail alike. Cada was in disbelief as he shook his opponents' hands and headed out through the ropes. The floor staff had to track him down so that he can get paid, and he'll pocket $21,533 for his efforts, but it was indeed a disappointing end to his day. ElkY now has a mountain of chips once again, leading the pack with about 1.45 million.

We walked up on the table as Benjamin Scholl was all in for 339,000. Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier was the man putting him to the test with the big stack. Scholl's Kd Jd was slightly behind but live versus ElkY's Ad 8s . The board ran Ks 9c 7c 3s 6s to give Scholl the pot and a double up over 700,000. ElkY's dropped to about 1.1 million.

Roland de Wolfe raised to 45,000 from middle position, and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier reraised to 130,000 from the button. It folded to Steven Bradbury who pushed all of his chips into the middle -- about 750,000. De Wolfe folded, then ElkY took a short pause before calling. Grospellier turned over his hand first --Kd Kc . Then Bradbury turned over his -- As Ac. The rail erupted. The board came 4h 7d Qs Jh 9s , and the huge pot went to Bradbury. (De Wolfe said afterwards he'd have hit a set on the river.) Grospellier walked away from the table afterwards, and it looked at first as though he may be out. But after the chips were counted, he still has about 275,000. Bradbury is our new chip leader with 1.65 million.
