While Corwin "vital]Myth" Cole, aka Tecknowledgy was playing the high-buyin Main Event starting in 7th chip position with three of the top 4 in chips behind him, Polish "Napalm" started the mid-stakes Main Event as chipleader. Unfortunately for both of them, the final results were not what they hoped for.

SCOOP Main Event High Buy-in

Day 2 started with 14 players on the final two tables, all fighting for the prizemoney that ranged from $55.220 (for 13th and 14th place) to a first prize of $963.338 ! Unfortunately for [vital]Myth, it wasn't to become his day. After $teveyMoney doubled up through him, he went all-in against actionDJ. Corwin's pocket fives were flipping against the AcTh of actionDJ. While the flop didn't make much of a different, the Ad on the turn and a blank on the river ended Corwin's tournament. He left in 12th place earning him $65,260 . Not as much as he probably hoped for, but still an outstanding performance in a very tough field!

Not much after that, the original chipleader of the day Jonathan "xxjondxx" Delong got eliminated by j.thaddeus, who had become the new chipleader, and when the final table started he was the only player with over a million in chips. At the final table, shortstacks teacuppoker (in his 15th cash during this series!) and Chris "Moorman1" Moorman were quickly eliminated. ActionDJ got shortstacked after PearlJammer won a big pot off him and he was forced to go all-in with QJs. Ragen70 held KQs and caused another elimination. 4 out of the top 5 players would be the biggest winners of this SCOOP series. $teveyMoney certainly made his name, after finishing runner-up earlier, he now became the 5th place finisher after his QTo got dominated by Chowdahhead4's AQo.

Jon "PearlJammer" Turner first managed to flop quad dueces when j.thaddheus hit a full house, jacks over deuces, but later had to give his stack to ragen70, after he lost KQo against ATs. J.thaddeus started the heads-up with little over a 3:1 chiplead over ragen70. It didn't take long to decide the winner: when ragen70 check-raises his opponent all-in on a 3dQc9hAc6c board with Jh6d, j.thaddeus makes the call and shows Tc8c for a flush and thus he wins the first SCOOP Main Event-high and close to one million dollar!

Final results:

    1st: j.thaddeus ($963,338)
    2nd: ragen70 ($715,350)
    3rd: PearlJammer ($527,100)
    4th: MazeOrBowie ($401,600)
    5th: $teveyMoney ($281,120)
    6th: Chowdahhead4 ($213,350)
    7th: actionDJ ($163,500)
    8th: Moorman1 ($112,950)
    9th: teacuppoker ($83,332)

SCOOP Main Event Mid-stakes

Napalm aka hasuace started the Medium buy-in ($1,050) Main Event with by far the biggest stack, but that it wasn't gonna be his day became clear in the early stages of the tournament. Almost half his stack went in on a Th7h4h board that got called by weeminer. Hasuace showed JhJd, but was behind against weeminer's AsAc. No jack, no heart on turn or river and he was back to 4th place. Another cooler followed: after calling JC Alvarado's UTG raise in the big blind, he flopped top pair top kicker on the Js7s3c board. The money went in but unfortunately the PokerStars Pro showed pocket kings, again over half his stack went away.

Starting the final table with the 7th biggest stack there was some work to be done. And that's exactly what he did: without showing down any hand hasuace managed to climb back to an average stack. Unfortunately, it wasn't for long: after a raise from ErikXP, hasuace reraises which gets called. At the Ad2c5s flop, both check. The turn 7s gets check-called by hasuace and at the river, we see him check-call all-in. Showing QcQh he didn't expect his opponent to have an ace here, and he was right: ErikXP showed 7d5d for two pair! Napalm/hasuace was out in 8th place for $39,975 .

ErikXP later went on to end heads-up against JC Alvarado, who had a 3:2 chiplead. The final hand was bet on every street, and when they got to showdown, it turned out JC Alvarado flopped a full house with his pocket fives on the 7d7h5sKs8s board which turned out to be enough to beat ErikXP's Qs7c to win the title and $502,086 .

Final results:

    1. JC Alvarado $502,086
    2. ErikXP $374,166
    3. Crisper $263,835
    4. Ericb09 $183,885
    5. weeminer $135,915
    6. phinomenon $103,935
    7. fan4mizzou $71,955
    8. hasuace $39,975
    9. Teejmeister1 $25,584

SCOOP Main Event Low stakes

The $109 buy-in version of the SCOOP Main Event had a huge field of 18,747 players. 26 of them had to come back for the final day and within an hour, the final table was set. Tiktok23 started it as the chipleader, and when it got 4-way, he was second in chips. The four players agreed on a deal that left $20,000 for the winner and chipleader at that time was JannotLapin, who ended heads-up with Sador1983 with about even chips, but JannotLapin quickly regained the lead. They later went all-in on a Jh2h4h board, with Sador1983 holding top-pair-top-kicker against JannotLapin just holding a flushdraw. The 7h on the turn however makes the flush and JannotLapin wins the tournament.

Final results:

    1st - JannotLapin ($151,203.71)
    2nd - Sador1983 - ($113,338.23)
    3rd - Tiktok23 - ($120,327.63)
    4th - Naxer ($110,562.42)
    5th - 75champ75 ($56,241.01)
    6th - moohaha123 ($37,494.01)
    7th - dhutt24 ($26,339.54)
    8th - dreamer_ss ($16,872.31)
    9th - xxRogexx ($11,248.21)
