Another LiquidPoker-member being successful in one of the SCOOP-events. This time it's thewh00sel winning the $200+$15 NLHE (1 rebuy, 1 add-on) mid-stakes event! The event had 1809 entries and 270 places paid, and with the rebuys and add-ons it made a prizepool of $873,000. When they got down to the final table, thewh00sel was leading, just ahead of RandALLin and lipster99. These three players did most of the work during the last few tables, and it was no different at the final table.

Clashing a lot of times with lipster99, thewh00sel seemed to have the better of his opponent nearly all the time, building out his chiplead to a point where he had over 5 million when the other players had around 1 million. He and lipster99 took care of the first 3 eliminations, while RandALLin took the next three. When the got down to 3 players, RanddALLin and thewh00sel had about the same chipcount, well over 5 million while lipster99 was sitting with just under a million. A nice suckout followed: while lipster99 was ahead with his queens, thewh00sel managed to flop bottom pair with and river bottom trips for the knockout. That meant he had a slight chiplead over RandALLin starting the heads-up. A chop was decided, thewh00sel would get about $3k more and they would play for the remaining $10,000 and the title. In about 40 minutes thewh00sel ended up all-in with a commanding chiplead. His kings held up against RandALLin's and after over 15 hours, thewh00sel had won SCOOP Event #17: $225 No-Limit Hold'em and $128,476.91 after the chop. Railthread can be found here

Meanwhile Hevad Khan was again successful. Just two days after he claimed the low buy-in event 14, Hevad got 4th in the $2000+$100 event 17. He was pumped up and ready to go as they reached the final table:
RaiNKhAN: LETS SEE IF WE CAN DO IT
RaiNKhAN: JUST
RaiNKhAN: ONE
RaiNKhAN: MORE
RaiNKhAN: TIME!@!!@!@ As players got knocked out one at a time, it looked like nothing was impossible anymore, until this ugly hand followed. After playing cautiously up to this point, Hevad called an all-in raise by gator93 for most of his stack. He was well ahead with his against gator93's , and when the flop came there was not much to fear for. But when the came on the turn and the on the river, we saw that Hevad got runner-runnered and was crippled to just under 6 big blinds. He later pushed all-in with against jakoon1985's and while Hevad hit a 2 on the flop, a 6 on the turn and a blank on the river busted out our hero. It earned him $123,200.00 and a lot of respect, but unfortunately not another title. That later went to jakoon1985, who beat $teveyMoney heads-up with top pair against 2 overcards and won this SCOOP title. Railthread can be found here
Final results: 1st place: jakoon1985 ($266,881.13) (after chop)
2nd place: $teveyMoney ($254,078.87) (after chop)
