Best hands are AAKKds and AAJTds, you'll get them maybe once a year.
Here's my quick course that should make you a winning player up to like PLO200:
1. Only draw to the nuts, if you can't get the nuts by drawing, it's not worth it
2. Play position!! Tight EP and loosen up towards CO and button. Very very important. (Playing draws out of position can really be a beyotch).
3. Hands like AAxx and 8765 are good, also A876 etc wraps that can get a lot of straights and flushes (The A is there for the Ax flush possibility).
4. If you flop the nuts, be sure to have some sort of redraw, for example hand 9832 on JT7 board without a redraw is hardly playable.
5. Remember that you have to use exactly two cards from your hand ;D
6. Usually if you bet, betting the pot is correct.
Yeah, that's about it. If you apply this correctly, you won't have any trouble before PLO400 ;D |

As for Book, I think Super System II has a section on it. You can find it online on Doyle's room pages: http://www.doylespokerroom.com/poker/poker_online.cfm
Also, Ciaffones PL/NL book has some chapters on it. Dunno about others, not too much literature on it. Sklansky might've written some (prolly good for PLO since he has the math side covered quite well and PLO is all about that ) |

Yea I dunno, almost seems like an accident that it's available since the only link to it goes through "Site Map". But I don't complain :D |

People go broke with one pair on low stakes so it's not hard to abuse them. Whenever you get reraised pf, you can be quite sure you're against AAxx and you have nice implied odds since the donks can't lay it down lolol. |

play position and....POT IT. i keep bluff bluff bluff and they fold fold fold waiting for the nuts. it work wonders at 50 or 100 NL, people over that are less stupid and people below that are too stupid. |

--------EPIC BUMP!------------
So yeah there were no super amazing plo books for a long time but a new one is coming out in a month in the form of an e-book that might be pretty good and relevant to todays games:
http://dailyvariance.com/
Written by SlowHabit on 2p2, same guy who wrote the good nl ebook that cts wrote a few chapters in. Looks pretty promising as an educational resource thats relevant and useful to us online nlh players trying to make a transition, and not something irrelevant and rubbish written by live pros. It should come out by end of next month, I'm going to be posting a review of it on lp in a few days once I find time to read through a pre-release unfinished version of the book, stay tuned |

plo is the nl of 5 years ago
ppl fucken suck and you dont need books to crush the games if you got good card sense and you have good game theory
best way is to play and get experience and then read books after to polish your game |

As usual Tri explains things very well
BUT it is not new material to my mind. I had already discovered those kinds of thought process. One thread on four explained it pretty well:
Calling 4bet in PLO |

Whats the point of just calling a 4 bet in omaha 100bbs deep? Couldn't you just shove a rundown type of hand because its essentially a coinflip? Yeah sure AAxx is ahead like 55/45 or 57/43, but with the dead money in the pot wouldn't this be profitable? Perhaps calling a 4 bet seeing a flop and then folding when you COMPLETELY miss everything makes it a little more +EV than just shoving? Can someone clear this up for me. |

ya exactly it'd be profitable but its normally even more profitable to just call |
