Villain is 35/6/0.78 over 30 hands.

First hand history I post in SSNL, in an effort to actually improve my game and not just kid myself about it. I'm wondering whether I should have reraised the river or just smooth call. If so how much... 3x?

My thoughts:

call

The only hands a nit balances in his range are the nuts, the second nuts, and the third nuts.

This is a pretty simple call against most opponents. I haven't played nl5 ever, so I don't know how deepstack play works there, but at nl10-nl50 there are some villains who you can stick a small raise on here (and fold to a shove). Folding isn't an option.

i would recomment folding preflop also, edit nvm, u guys are very deep and if u hit you're taking his whole stack, if u guys were 100bbs i might consider a fold preflop, don't know what the rest thinks

3betting to 6 bbs gives me even more incentive to call.

The only hands a nit balances in his range are the nuts, the second nuts, and the third nuts.

hmm I know this is true in principal (and I finally managed to do it today) but I'm having such a hard time stacking someone with a set atm. Gotta look over how I'm betting and make sure to play it right according to the opponent - in the near future perhaps I will make a thread with a few set hands asking how you would have played it better.
