3/6 RR pot w/ KQ

Villain play 19/16 and doesnt like to fold to 3bets. So I go ahead and 3bet KQo for value with position. What should I think about on this flop. I kind of want to bet to protect my hand, but if I get it in on this flop its usually a race or I am far behind.

How do you guys play this spot in general?

I 3bet larger preflop. As played I bet $100 and call a shove

I have no idea if my line is actually good here, but I'd check behind and look for a safe turn. Does he 4bet at all is TT+ and AQ in his range all the time?

Sofar in not soo many hands, maybe 500, he hadnt 4bet yet, so maybe he doesnt 4bet AQ TT typish hands at least.

Babs. I dont know, I am reraising someone because he has a marginal hand and I like mine, but imo $60 is enough in position, I dont mind a call from his part. If he calls me too much its just good for me. I would accept reraising to 63 but not bigger.

I was thinking like Dusty was kind of, look for a safe turn. Beacuse it kinda sucks bet/calling.

If I bet, is he gonna call me alot or just raise for most part when he decides to play?

I would bet and be ok w/ getting it in on flop.

preflop is ok but ur kidding urself if u think ur raising for value here. You're helpless to a blind 4bet pre or a blind flop checkraise. I would only be 3betting if im expecting hands like 44 or A7s to fold pre or unimproved on flop, in which case ur effectively bluffing. Him calling with a weaker king or queen then u both flop top pair and he c/cs down or u get it on flop just doesnt happen often enough for u to be thinking "value" pre.

I feel like this. I will reraise and take it down a good amount preflop, those times he call me I will check behind flop sometimes and bet on favorable flops. and I think the times flop is Q x x or K x x I will be getting it in very good.

checking is really meh since 25% of the time we get heart or A on the turn (which dosn't have to improve his hand, but makes it really gay for your hand) If we bet/call on this flop it should be somewhat neutralish against his range, (definatley more +EV since its its impossible for him to have more tan 12 outs ever) but the profit comes from winning the pot on the flop rather than playing guessing games on later streets

against someone who calls 3-bets tighter you can use dusty's line at higher frequencies, but if villian calls too many 3-bets and often has stuff like 66+ here (but not AA, KK /AK then betting is definatley best

I'd love myth's line but the problem is that regs calls me all the time with stupid stuff with some equity. I think their raising range should have us in semibad shape. I'd rather bet a normal amount unless I know villian is spazzy.
