Against 90%+ of opoponents this is a mega easy value bet of course
But so far in ~100 hands of 2 tabling this player has done nothing but check call and check fold, he has 3-bet me two times and check folded postflop after I called and half pot on low boards. Just two hands ago we played this hand, (something which actually reached showdown) http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/578490
He also folds ~60% of his hands on the button + BB (nitty preflop) so I'm min opening almost every single button

My concern is that he may be terrible enough to check call better hand on the river and hes obv not check raising hands like A6, so all I beat in Ax range is A7/AT, but I'd feel very dirty checking back AJ after all the draws miss. He snap min check raised, bet turn after ~1 sec, and SNAP checked river*

hmmm tbh i doubt i bet if what u say is true cuz he probably has nothing like 75% of the time, he has like something marginal 10% AJ'ish himself, or something he is playing retarded and checked.

basically tho my main reasoning with the description provided is that i want to see his hand

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, by running away from the scene of an accident.

He can be so weak checking somthing like A2 here imo, hoping u bluff and not thinking he will get value if u got AT.

I dont see whats wrong with checking back given how you described him. I dont think he was c/r a weaker ace on flop that often and its not like you can get value out of a missed draw. Plus this way we get a note on how he plays w/e.

And ^^ the small bet is to induce snap call jam?

what do you think he has? if your answer is "i don't know" the information that we get from checking is far greater than any value that we can get out of a bet IMO.

agree. check for information. i don't see you getting much value out of his missed draws anyways, and there is a decent chance you are behind.

This is my biggest beef with checking against a conventional opponent, this guy is giving up on every single small pot - it's not shaping up to the the type of match where i'm double floating him with a naked flush draw to bluff him on the river

minbetting is actually really cool because he calls 100% AND you get to see what he has AND he never bluffraises because he sucks

wat raszi said is so wrong because it only makes your value betting range much smaller, meaning air is going to be a bigger part of your betting range on the river
