The villain is a reg. I pretty much butchered my hand here and it's pretty underrepped. I basically never ever expect this guy to donkbet and especially so small. I think I was sort of shocked to see this and I was not really playing my A-game (long session) so I didn't pay enough attention to notice his bet size in relation to the pot -_-. What's confusing to me is how he seems to bet sort of meekly on the flop+turn and then goes nuts on a brick river. I think I need to throw a raise in here somewhere, probably on the turn?

Like it doesn't make much sense. If he had a set he would bet stronger on this board. Like I said I don't really expect a player like him to donkbet so I don't think he's taking a retarded poke at the pot on this flop 3 way with a draw or wtv. If he has AK he will play it differently, especially with the 2tone flop? He obviously can't have AKss since the Ks comes on the turn. I just find this hand really confusing and don't know what to make of it. opinions?

If you raise turn though, say to 40, I don't know if you can fold to a push

Way you played it is fine imo, I think he has AK or 89s/AJs.

idk i think in theory the best place to raise is flop because you cant feel too bad about getting it in there when you're looking at 8-10 outs or possibly ahead/flipping of something gay like AJss AQo unless he has ak and then you're up shit creek :O

when the turn hits as played i think its perfectly fine to call with nearly expressed odds to boat him especially with so much behind and i think it would be terribly overrepping your hand and you'd not really want to get it in with like 18% ev or whatever it is to boat the river against a made straight or flush; i feel like if you raised turn here you're making a horrible mistake and forced to call off a ton of money to draw to your boat

overall since you're deep and since im a pussy for variance i dont mind the way its played at all, but since you asked, yeah i think raise flop and def not turn here, but you probably already know all that dont you :O

If villain is a reg, won't he be folding most of his Ax/89s type hands pre-flop given he's cold-calling a 3-bet?

he has AA a lot: he wants to stack you on low boards, gets the worse flop and says "fuck, he has a set or a straight, let's donk and find out."
