Nope this is fine. I might bet something like 10c on the flop because people aren't going to fold a flush draw to that much anyway.

This kind of stuff will happen to you, but you'll be winning these spots waaay more than you lose.

No you played it perfect (cept missing an opportunity to raise preflop), you want to exploit players who limped with QJ, QT, Qx, or club club, which you will find often enough.
