What? At NL10 this is like A8 all the time. The flop minraise is often top pair trying to see if it's good, and then the blocker size bets make me lean towards A8 or 99 or some hand that wants to set a cheap price to get to showdown. You must call this river as played. |

Hmm.
I think a turn raise would be better then? Aghhh I dunno. Maybe its some subconcious shit with TT/JJ still. I just hate this spot. I see these guys raising and betting tiny with sets because they are afraid of you folding.
Although maybe when they do this with sets they usually bomb the river bigger... ehh |

Yeah, I think it folds out a lot of hands you beat... but yeah river gets tough to play if like an A, 8 or 7 hits. So I think it's worth it. |

night man, if u call the flop and turn and then he bets 50% pot, u must call the river since they both completely bricked, if anything because its so fucking cheap and even if we only win the river 1/5 times, we want to know what he minraises with, its an excellent note to keep.. and yes, bad players do show up here with A8, K8, stuff like that, and then also random PP's sometimes, maybe just random pairs. usually not just 2 overs.
and of course, the occasional stone cold nuts. some donks, alot, minraise = stonecold nuts, but then some of them also minraise = top pair, so its a matter of noting who is who, and here you are getting great odds to take a note and maybe take down this pot. |

Heh, I see the odds arguments and all. Its just so ugly. I am just finishing up a session now (where I ran terrible btw ), where this exact same situation came up except I had JJ. They show me a set when I call. Obvious, I thought to myself.
(lol last hand on my last table this guy pays me off on Khi board with KJ vs AK. Break even session yay)
Yug, you're so damn gangster! How can I keep up!? I'll have to download some more 36mafia..^^ |

His bet on the turn is awfully low for board that just got more dangerous - I would think he'd bet stronger with a good hand. Given that, I like a turn raise but since you didn't, you got one of the safest rivers you could have asked for so why would you think his hand suddenly changed in value here? Your reason for calling flop+turn would be b/c you think your hand is good, so call this river! |

you need a read to fold the river.
standard would be call, fold isnt bad against some nl10 players though, a lot of nits will take this line with ONLY a set |
