villain is 56/35 over about 40 hands. my plan was to pot the flop and get it in on a safe turn, but the turn was the absolute worst card that could've shown up. now two things that microfish absolutely love (chasing flush draws and playing random aces) have me beat. i think a bet/fold would've been better on the turn since checking let him own me with such a difficult decision. having the nut flush draw convinced me to call since i thought it'd be +EV from sucking out a small % of the time and winning from the times hes playing garbage. is this a spewy call? im beginning to think as played i have to fold since i dont really know much about the villain's postflop play and whether or not he spews a lot.

any thoughts?

+EV cause you won dood

The only hands a nit balances in his range are the nuts, the second nuts, and the third nuts.

I think a bet/fold on the turn wouldn't work well because by this time the pot is pretty big. You have to bet about 5 on the turn which would leave him with about 3 dollars. If he shoves you can definitely call 3 dollars to try to win a nearly 20 dollar pot because your KK might still be good (I don't think he'd call the flop with ace rag) and you're drawing to the nut flush. That's just me, though. I might be wrong.

bet folding isn't an option, against an aggressive player i really like your line

but what about his line? is ok to put him on draws only? 56/35 he can have two pairs, FD etc etc. so the idea is to get it in because this is micro stakes and he is lag?

i think yugless is right.

i don't think its a bad idea either to bet this turn weakly - maybe $2-2.5 to induce a bluff/semi bluff and snap calling his shove. if you're behind you have a lot of equity but you aren't behind that often against an agressive 56/35

i like bet/calling here, donks will keep drawing no matter what, or they may just shove it in

check/call looks good. note he's not shoving hands that beat you that much. show some "weakness" and snapcall against this guy. bet/call is also good but doesn't leave him much room to make crazy plays.

But what if that turn ace was a non-spade. Are we not worried of AX hands?

from my experience at NL2 and NL10 so far, we are ALWAYS worried about Ax hands.

non-spade aces would change things alot since we lose our additional equity we had with the nfd and they pair the villains nfds
