general comments on how to play this hand would be appreciated. i had a really hard time figuring out what to do and with my bet sizing. villain is solid. he has never 4 bet me before in about 15 minutes of play. called one 4 bet shove of me when he had QQ.
like turn. do i rather take freecard or risk being c/r. he is not big on c/r so far.
i was guessing he might have 88 or 1010 or something when he checked turn to me as well.

also the game was pretty solid pf. there were some 3bets and some 3bet defending but not almost no 4bets. do you like pf?

I dont really see what you are looking to get value from on the river? Maybe AQ that tried potcontrolling flop but thats about it.

what wackass site is this nigga?

if hes never 4-bet you before hes not gonna do it with TT-88 in position, it just dosnt make sence to do so 250bb deep. I would say his range is heavily weighted towards a bluff that maybe mad e top pair or turned clubs, like Qxs, Jxs, or XcXc or a hand like QQ where hes slowplaying, either way I like this value bet this is not bad. I do hate the really gay turn bet however - you are trying to buy the pot, why are you ebtting half pot, please bet minimum 70% of the pot, gaybetting gives him room to play in position (which is bad for you) and forces you to fire again on many rivers

i like your thoughts on his range.

yeah turnbet is probably much better if i make it a little bigger.

thnx for the advice both.

Saki i thought he might call with AQ, AJ or some suited K10 or something, also i was thinking i could maybe fold to a shove from him. and if i check and he bets potlike, it would be really difficult for me not too call. on the other hand i could win some more vs bluffs. obviously i felt really lost through this hand, hate to be OOP deep but i just couldnt imagine it being good to throw away AK pf. would anyone?

I wouldnt think he 4-bets AJ and AQ preflop a ton, I would think his range is way more polarized between trash and like AK/JJ+ so I prefer c/c river because your line looks like complete shit if you check.

what wackass site is this nigga?

i like your river bet as well if villain is even semi competent he'll pay you with worse on this river fairly often as your line doesn't look like much and he'll assume your range is pretty goddamn polarized on the river so we show up with something somewhere in the middle and own face.

CCing is not good, since he is NEVER turning any of his preflop showdown value bluffs into bluffs on later streets (ex Jx or Qx, hands (j3s Q2s etc.. garabge potential hands)) but when people play them in this check mode, it's because they will NEVER fold to almost any bet. He's also not likley to bluff anything except missed clubs (which is a tiny part of his range), if I check here it's with the intention of check folding

betting is wayy >>>> checking, and its not even close IMO you need to punish peopel who like to shwodown medium strengh hands
