Could we talk about some of the important adjustments that need to be made when a person moves over to 6-max from FR?

open up your ranges/tighten up ur ranges?

When you have the blockers its almost like double effect- like you dont not have the blockers.

VPIP (20% plus) = PFR (or as close as realitically possible)

6 max is more about adjusting your 3 betting ranges then it is opening ranges. I open with so much random stuff cutoff/button in FR which is what is done in 6 max anyway. But i 3 bet with very little in FR because the only time people ever call is with monsters.

Also because you're 3 betting with a larger range preflop in 6 max postflop becomes more difficult because you have to know how to bet marginal hands. But that's also a reason more skilled players have a much higher winrate in 6 max and to the same exent HU.

well yea but the downswings at 6max are also worse then those at FR.

Really depends on who's opening. If the table is all solid no one really playing crazy then just good pairs high connectors possibly mid connectors in position... i mean you range should expand and contract based on the your percieved range of villian and what you think he'll call with.
