I was afraid to shove because he was the one who raised first which made me think he had jacks and I'm an overall big coward T_T |

as played you have to shove flop when he bets half his stack, expect him to call with a random assed flush draw, an overpair, 1010 jj or some other stupid combo draw hand like JdXd
against just a flush draw sets are like 3:1 to win so..
you dont want to just see the turn and then freak out if it flushes, so you have to have a plan of action from the very start, folding is terrible here.
i think shoving flop in a way is also the way of preventing yourself from making any costly and stupid mistakes on scarier turn and rivers.

hahahaha it's possible to become too manstyle.
hand 1: if you wanna lead that flop then you should definitely just bet about pot sized (not over) and then hope he raises you. if he raises you, ship it in. he'll ship with a lot of hands, not just TT and JJ. QQ-AA will probably ship almost 100% at your level (and there are WAY more combinations of AA-QQ than TT/JJ) PLUS he'll also likely be shipping draws such as KQ (OESD), KQdd (strong combo draw), AKdd, AQdd, possibly two pair hands such as JT, and TPTK (JA). So yeah, it's possible for you to be behind here BUT, you're way ahead of his range. so ship it in and if he calls you with a better hand it's a cooler, if you lose. if he calls you with a worse hand it's a bad beat, if you lose.
hand 2: super standard no problem, but yeah have a full stack like lamZZZik said |

set FTP to auto rebuy
also don't play nl10 on FTP because rake is retarded there |

The FTP interface is so good though and also, doesn't the rakeback pay almost 70 % of or so of what's taken from you because it uses the dealt method?

If someone raises you on the flop when you have a set, your only decision is whether you think he'll call a shove, because you want the money in the middle, always. There are only two hands that beat you, and you can never narrow someone's range to two hands after 2 rounds of betting, ever. At Nl10 AJ, two diamonds, JT, and even KQ and 89 can play this way, so be very happy when the money goes in.
Checking turn is ok, but it's good because it allows hands like AJ, and overpairs to semibluff, not because you can put him specificallyon a flush. At nl10 few people raise naked flushes on the flop, so it's not a huge part of his range. Call this all day, and be happy about it.
Don't overbet in hand two, you'll mostly get called by better hands. In cash games you want to keep worse hands in (for a price, of course!) |

Hand 1.
Telling me you think he is on set of jacks is extremely unlikely, hes almost never on JJJ here, the way hes played imo is over pair or AK/AJ with one card being a diamond, id shove flop here, he has already told you he will play for stacks and on the flop your winning almost everytime, get it in!!!
Hand 2.
Dont overbet, standard cooler if he has set, hes shortstacked, you are not getting away. |

both of these hands are 100% standard 360 snap shoves on flop imo. |
