Hello, I need help finding a good poker site -.- I use to play at FTP but I left because I forgot to get rakeback like an idiot when I made my account (btw if theres a way to get rakeback plz tell me, I don't think I can though.)So recently I've been playing at UB but I decided to leave that place too because 1) I hated it and 2) FA told me it was shady. Then he told me to come here to ask for help so here I am ^^

Can you guys give me advice for a good poker room? I want a site that has decent traffic atleast where I can find a decent amount of tables at any time. I play small stakes (25 and 50NL) Of course I want rake back!! I've heard a few things about cake but I don't know anything about it. Help please!! TY.

Cake has a 100% deposit bonus up to $500 and you can get 33% rakeback through raketherake.com
If you want help you can send me a PM.
(Cake has pretty soft games also)

I know which sites have which bonuses and rakeback ect. I can look at review sites. I want the personal opinion of people who have played there or at other sites so I can make an informed decision since I hated being stuck at UB. Right now I'm leaning towards CakePoker unless someone has something bad to say about it or can reccomend a better site.

I think you can get rakeback on fulltilt as long as you are not linked to any other affiliate.

I'm on cake and I think it's nice.
Only thing bad is tournament fields are much smaller so is the userbase and less tables but it's not the worst.
Also no stakes filter.

n1ck, what does that mean? Does it mean I can't have another account at any poker room? Or can I not have rakeback at any others?

You can goto RTR and ask for a retag request for rakeback account.

why are there so many threads like this? the site doesn't matter half as much as people make it out to seem.

im pretty sure if you have an account with full tilt that is not linked to any affiliate, you can get a rakeback deal on that account (via raketherake for example)

Actually yes it is possible to get rakeback even if you already have an account on FTP. This has been going on for a while. I don't remember the details of doing it but I'm sure if he contacts the support of a rakeback affiliate and FTP they can set it up.

Secondly there are so many threads like this because people who are new to the site generally have no idea how to use the search function .

pokerstars has by far the best software
they also have the hardest games (relatively speaking)
and non-existent rakeback (until you spend half a year playing on their site and get supernova)

ongame or ipoker have great rakeback/bonuses are far worse players. cake is fine too but they have less players

I like Cake/PlayersOnly a lot, although I've played much much more on PlayersOnly. The only problem I have with the network is that it takes them FOREVER to process a withdrawal request (at least PlayersOnly, I haven't tried cashing out from Cake). The rakeback and bonuses are good and easy to clear, the players are TERRIBLE, and the traffic is really not bad at all. You'll probably be able to find a game whenever you want to play. It's also very easy to multitable as many tables as you want, too. They don't have PT, which would obv be nice, but the quality of play there is so low relative to sites like stars or FTP that it really doesn't make as much of a difference.

I sent a retag request for raketherake and they emailed me back saying:

If you have ever played for real money on the original account then you
cannot get rakeback from Full Tilt on that account.
If you try to create another FT account, it is likely to be closed by FT
support and your balance will be transferred to the original account.

It was an automated message -- gonna wait a couple days and see what happens.

Thanks for all the replies, gonna check out ipoker and ongame if I can't get rakeback at full tilt; and yeah, I need rakeback so PS isnt an option.
