C/R or bet into him bigger
don't give him a chance to shove over u on a bluff or semibluff
what if he had AK and shoved over ur bet - you still would have lost this hand, when u should have won the pot w/o showdown |

fold to his RR pf, doesnt matter if you're getting his stack 100% when you hit, you still need to win more than he has to make the call worth it. just pretend he shoved his whole 5500 when he reraises. |

you dont make much sense in your thought process at all..
"So QQ+ AKs is what i thought, most probably KK or AA"
and...
"I bet 1/3 the pot on the flop to make him lay down overcards"
your bet on the flop will probably induce a shove from his entire range.
just fold it preflop, stacksizes makes it silly to try and hit something big |

I'm not sure I understand the thinking process. |

mmmkey . Next time I will try stg similar if i'm up against a player with more chips cause yeah... implied odds not enough against this obvious pushing-on-the-flop min raise by the shortstack. 10x for d answers. |

Yeah I think the main problem is this hand is the inconsistency in your thought process. If you think he has most KK or AA preflop when he RR you, then you should have the same read on the flop and act accordingly. Therefore a bet accomplishes nothing because the range you have him on is not folding and you are forcing yourself to get your money in bad.
Also, given your read on him you should have just folded preflop. Despite his range being very narrow and transparent (in your opinion), you still don't have enough in the effective stacks to call here. He needs to be a little deeper here for you to flat and try to hit a good flop (I'd say about 2k more chips, given your preflop read). |
