My nit instincts are telling me not to bet, but really the only reason we would not is if we think he has AQ here often enough. Thoughts?

you must bet it because he will call with much worse puting you on 78, or FD after you played flop like this with one guy behind

bet...but honestly a lot of tight players don't raise QJ QK utg.
raise flop is good too. Makes it look like a FD.

imo, i'd be trying to take more money from him, which would be like 2/3 pot at most. i think pot bomb = obv fold for him... i mean whats he doing staying in hoping to hit an A on riv??

raise flop , so many cards kill the action on later streets, if he have something on the flop kq.aq,kk,aa, you got him.
build the pot, don't slowplay your hand is very strong on the flop' but very vunerable on later steets

I raise Flop most of the time, $174 or something on the River as played

i raise flop here alot, board is super drawy and he would put alot of semibluffs in our range and will often stack with TP and overpairs after we raise flop
and i dont think this is a good situation for him to bet flop with air or marginal hand, so AQ KQ are possible and TT+

AA is only a pair MUPPET - the guy who cracked my AA calling AI pf with QJLast edit: 12/10/2008 13:46

i like anywhere between a 180-300 on river depending on your reads n shit nom sayin?

i think a flop raise would be sexy as you can easily rep a big draw as well and most regulars will happily get it in flipping /w a strong queen here.

biggest mistake here is not getting more money in on the flop - I'm guessing phexac pussed out cause they were 200bb deep
