not minraise/call the shove?

every hand that i played UTG i make min reise......

if ur new to the table it shouldnt matter cuz u probly havent raised utg.

unless u like always minraise utg which is a different story all together. im curious as to what tourney players say about minraise utg.

just raise normally here as its a new table and u want to get money in w/ a great hand. I dont really get the point of the minraise, id rather raise bigger utg than my normal raise if i had to pick a different bet size (range should be stronger, you'll be oop most of the time etc)

frankly I think if you do minraise your intention is getting people to shove over you lighter so it becomes an easier call.

i've also found that ppl shove over a minraise lighter

but then why say you don't like the minraise? i think its reasonable

As played snap call he'd never play AA/KK/QQ like this but he could do that with small pps u're flipping against but you do great against his range. Like Echo said you should stop minraising UTG with strong hands, you price in the bb and gonna play the whole hand oop against MP/LP cold callers.
