well played or not?
this river bet was like saying 'i got nuts' but I guess I had too strong hand to fold and there's also a chance on his bluffing,
maybe I should just bet flop stronger?

I wanted to check turn raise allin, but he betted so strongly which convinced me of the str8

betting bigger preflop and on the flop is how you beat draws like this.

also you were in position so you can't check/raise turn, and he didn't even bet the turn to make you think he had the straight.

I tried to 3bet around 3.5*+1 for caller, isn't that good?

the turn brings in many draws that you must charge plus you have to build a pot to take all of his stack,not just part of it
if he checks river and you bet and he calls,he has succesfully pot controlled the hand,bet the turn there are very few hands that beat you.
Also his strong river bet might easily mean that he has an underset or two pair from which you could profit by raising,even if your read that he thinks he is strong is right,you have a huge hand that you have misrepresented,you have to raise here because the hands that you beat are so many that it's ridiculous.
if you go bananas with your betting only when you have the nuts,not only are you losing a lot of value in a lot of spots,but you're also very easy to exploit.
It may seem that you saved money here,but this is an overall losing play.

My 3bet would be at least $2 without the caller in between, since bushido's raise was a minraise. With the caller, there's quite a bit more money in the pot when it gets to you so $2.25 is a bit small. Then I'd bet $5ish on the flop, since the pot would be over $6.50.

Checking turn loses value from lots of hands, just unlucky that he had the one hand that improved to beat you.

I started to unconsciously play only the nuttiest nuts to the allin..

unless the turn is the ace of clubs im going to continue betting here because if its the u can be sure that he has the nuts since its like ALWAYS the nuts so since its the i wud bet the turn and check/fold turn if it comes or because those 2 cards hit everyone ALWAYS u can see.
