I lost almost the exact same hand a few days ago. You basically only beat a bluff, because 3 of the 8 lower aces have boated, AJ+ have you beat, and obviously other boats do. So basically to make this a call, he has to 3 barrel A high boards into the pre flop raiser (who is screaming I have an Ace) frequently, bluffshove missed FDs, or severely overvalue A8s or something like that. At low stakes, without a read I won't give people credit for betting FDs, or 3 barreling. Leading 3 streets looks to me like two pair that just boated (he won't flat 72) or a high Ace trying to valuetown a lower ace (you look like you have an A or FD and he's praying you have an unboated ace) . Obviously 77 and 22 are part of his range as well. Standard fold IMO. |

without further reads, i consider his weak turn bet to be indicative of the strength of his hand and raise for value to 1.60 and expect a call from draws, mid-pairs, and weaker aces, and check behind river if called on the turn. |
