so i've been using post flop aggression factor in my HUD for some time and im starting to think its not very easy to draw conclusions from this number
for example, when i hit a big hand and im OOP to the original raise who has a AF of like 6 doesnt mean he's super aggro and will insta cbet my check
aggression factor being (B+R)/C, players with high AF could be super aggro's or weak tights right?
if he check folds all missed flops and raises all the nuts, his AF is also super high
Im starting to think about using aggression frequency instead - (B+R)/(B+R+C+F)
does anyone else use it? what sorts of ranges indicate what style of play?
this stat doesn't allow you to differentiate between calling stations and weak tights right?
interested in what the FR multi tablers use (im currently playing NL25)
thanks |

Afreq >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> AF
and your reasoning to draw this conclusion is 100% spot on |

it means exactly what the formula says... % of action they raise or bet and the rest the % of folds, checks and calls. |

I also have a question about PAHUD
i have the layout set up for players 1 through 9, but when i sit down and the table 'shifts' me to my preferred seat - the player stats dont move
how do you guys deal with this? just show the names with the stats?

You can set up your seating preferences, it just depends what site you are playing on.
In PAHUD go to options > preferences > select the pokersite
If its Tilt then make sure auto centre is selected and if its Stars click on the prefered seating tab and select the seats you use. |

| just bc you are gonna be relying on stats far too much and not paying nearly enough attention to history and such |

lol as already said the autorate option isnt too good, better option is to colour-code your HUD stat, before i switched to aggression frequency i had less than 1.5 passive, 1.5-3 normal, higher than 3 aggressive.
but frequency is exponentially better |

0-1 = super passive
1-2.5 = kinda passive
2.5-4 = aggresive
>4 = batshit aggresive |

im talking street by street, not overall. As for overall aggr freq. my HEM shows ~30-60% being most profitable with a mean/median value of 31% and a standard deviation of 8.5 |
