What would you advise someone who's overrolled and just marginally winning a limit (3ptbb 50k hands) to do? move up to next level or just keep on grinding until I improve winrate? I don't think I can do much better at the next level(200nl), but I'm pretty sure I won't do worse than what I've been doing at my current one. I've played it before and I felt I needed to crush the previous one before moving up as per advice of most good players, but I really feel I've been missing out on a lot of money by doing this and just cannot see the time wherein I crush my current limit coz I play a ton of tables and don't wanna cut down on them, I'm not asking for advice on my game or style of play, just BR management or progression when to move up, but def gonna try and improve at 400nl and up coz I feel my game is def not strong enough to even be a marginal winner there. thanks and more power to you guys.

FR is not poker, which is prolly why i love it so much lol

its quite a relief hearing it from esp from you wobbly and yomer, since you're both a long term FR player who's won a ton and doesn't require that I crush FR, coz honestly, I don't think I ever will crush it without heaters and shit lol. Thanks a lot guys. appreciate it a lot.

define marginal a 3ptbb winner def isnt near beating the stake strong.

well i think marginal is like <2ptbb.

kelisitaan (biggest midstakes fullring winner) is prob like slightly under 3 ptbb.

i am like lifetime 2.8ptbb and i think i am one of the best midstakes fullring regulars, and i dont feel i am only marginally beating my stakes.

obviously people who play like 5/10+ can get better winrates but for someone who is just grinding/moved up 3ptbb is nothing to be shy of.

yeah but he plays 24 tables, 5-6k hands a day average...

so that's 150k hands a month... at 3ptbb/100, that's like 4500 usd at 100nl which is decent. been encouraging him to move up already but he won't listen. he'd rather hear it from other people...

up up up!!! ppl tend to learn faster in tougher games and alot of people say its to learn by playing a better opponent.

lol whamm, u are rolled for 600nl, i reckon give it a try =P and then when u go back to 200nl it wont feel so bad

but seriously nl200 is still full of so many fish, at least play from 5pm-10pm US time on their saturdays and sundays, and join all the tables with high players/flop %

full ring is good

3BB/100 longterm at FR isn't a marginal winner.
