What's a proper buy-in for FL HE?

I heard of keeping 300 BB as a bankroll for FL HE, but nowhere have I read the proper amount to bring to the table. Is it the same no more than 5% rule buy-in?

And also I saw Kenny Tran on FTP playing FL HE at the lowest stakes. He brought about $1100 to the table or something, lol.

300BB (big bets not big blinds) is good for bankroll.. obv you want at least 12 BB on the table cause thats the maximum you can possibly put in on one hand.. mabey buy in for 30-40 BB per table for comfort. i think ps default is 20 but variance in limit is huge
