Hand 1: I have no qualms with checking - nor do I have a problem with raising to 600.
Hand 2: I reraise to put short stack allin. |

hand 1 i think shoving is fine, there's 500 in the pot and the button limper is never calling
hand 2 i wouldnt consider anything but all in |

i agree with shoving hand 1 but the bottom limper is calling at least 25% of the time. it makes no sense and it's the strangest thing when it happens, but i am telling you people limp/call the button like this constantly
hand 2 also agree |

as for being so deep with the guy who flatted...
so what, you said he's really loose and spewy and is calling big raises with AT and such. given that history, very easy allin and don't expect him to call you either. |

because he will call with worse and he's gonna call any raise anyway so might as well get it in while we are ahead and not put in 1/3 of our stack to c/f or something faggy like that.
+ AQ/AJ and other randoms might fold when you raise and they call ad then you shove the flop |

the coldcaller could always have something awesome but way more often than not does he have a hand like aj or not that high pocket which he wants to get allin on the flop vs shortstack but is afraid to get allin vs bigstack
i'd just push both |

| Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same | |
