Might be my last ring hand in awhile, I want to try HU SnGs/Cash for a few weeks at least. If anyone has a good post bookmarked on 2p2/LP for people starting out, please drop it by or PM me. thanks. -p

Got in a little discussion with a friend about this hand. This player is pretty lag, and I think checking gets us a free cbet from him. I'm not sure if we should c/r or c/c and see what happens on the turn...I figure if we're going to donk a safe turn, we might as well c/r?

It's 3way, but I expect the nit to play honestly. I think a donk out here takes down the pot a lot because the lag isn't continuing without a piece of the flop, especially with one behind him....so it might just be the simpler move.

quick edit: I make the above statement because of my image at the table, I haven't been playing back at all and haven't been involved in many hands. I don't expect anyone to play back at me in this spot.

I would never check for value on such a drawy board, because at least one of them would love to get a free card most of the time. I always bet out TPGK 3 handed with 2 flush cards and 3 straight cards on the board. I think a better spot for this move is with something like TPTK minimum on a much drier board. Please bet this.

Full disclosure: I am a nit.

yah i dont like c/r only because the lag may dont and shove over you for value with a good draw and you cant really call it because your beat by way too much, rather lead out and c/r or c/c a brick on the turn if donk boy calls the flop and the other guy folds ur flop lead. this way your getting max value out of underpairs and missed draws

I'd bet 5$ to charge him to draw, most hands that beats you will re-raise and it will be an easy fold. Most ppl on this lvl won't re-raise you with a draw...
