So basically this guy has been going monkeyshit preflop on several tables - hes a reg who loves to 3-bet preflop a ton, but sucks otherwise - he's also capable of 4-bet bluffing. I've cold 4-bet him 2-3x prior to this hand on other tables and he's folded. This time he reraies me back quickly (2 sec or so) - What do we like more - shove, fold or call? We have position*
I decided to shove with the thought process of "f it, I'm all in"

hes shoving cause the guy has dogshit a lot and the pot is already huge and calling seems dumb, either the guy puts tom on a big hand when he calls and tom gets no value postflop or the guy actually has a big hand and tom is in trouble

fold is an option for sure but the prospect of winning 1/4 of a buyin without showdown seems great when he could have total shit and your equity probably isnt that that bad since his calling range might contain some combos of AKs and QQ so maybe youre like 35% overall

I like it, 4 handed AKs go, get called by QQ and spike an Ace!

anyone want to comment on the 4bet size? seems to me that $88 is too small because you are going to get called a lot in position that deep and it also makes 6betting a lot less awkward when he makes it $250+ instead of $180 like he did here.

tom has position

i would standardly make it more like 96 here or something pf but i can see your point and would make it marginally bigger OOP probably but not too much

With AKs and position I don't mind getting called, I see no downside to him calling

yes considered this some more. if hes the kind of guy who shuts down if hes got air and feels like hes getting trapped and bets when he has a monster then calling is sick
