and can someone let me in on whether or not these guys are actually playing well for most of these hands

I am not very proficient in some of these games but some of it looks pretty bad.

the hand barry gets eliminated in he is showing aces and is all in on 7th street. Scotty calls blind with his first 6 cards behind barry (and scotty has no low yet). He could have looked down at his 7th card before calling TO EVEN SEE IF HE HAD A CHANCE.

i remember reading the 2+2 thread is it went down rooting for scotty but jesus this is pretty bad.

I thoguht it was pretty hilarious when Eric Lindgreen totally ignored Layne Flack when he Flack assaults him with congraultions. Flack = owned.

i was about to makle a thread about this. scotty showed no class and really seems like a true asshole. just cuz demichele may have done some stupid shit doesnt mean u gotta lower urself to it. i really respect erik lindgren throughout the whole thing. that last stud8 hand they showed where scotty rivered the K was just SO awful(I THINK). on top of the fact he had NO low draw and a pair that was losing to JUST demichele's 9's face up, he calls anyways, then slowrolls him. watch that video, its pretty disgusting to think hes the winner of the chip reese trophy.

Scotty played pretty bad and just ran good while he was blasted to somehow win the tourney after acting like an asshole.

First he let's Lindgren stay in the tourney when he knows he has him crushed an Omaha8 with the AA and nut lo draw (I forget by now if it was a nut lo or not). Then he tried to rep trip 7s on the turn in Holdem that he never has and just dumps more chips to Lindgren who has TPJK. Then he for some reason tried to protect Lindgren's lo board in Stud8 with a bad 9 board when he thought DeMichele also caught bad, giving more chips away. The last hand was also terrible, when Scotty called down with 66 and no low draw against DeMichele's 99 + potential lo board (lmfao) and obv Scotty catches a miracle cooler.

Some pretty bad play by Scotty and he acted like a fucking drunken moron to boot. I'm glad Edawg turned on him and sided with DeMichele at the end, and I wish DeMichele would have won and shut Scotty the fuck up. I used to really like Scotty as an "ambassador of poker," now I can't fucking stand him.

Wow shaneomac, I jsut watched that video. It's like he completely forgot how much of an asshole he was being, like everything he did was perfectly right. I mean, yeah you can get DeMichele back for doing the showboating bullshit, but seriously, he got the picture and there was no need to keep acting liek a moron. God this idiot just tilts me more and more.

I also thought DeMichele played some of his Stud8 hands a little poorly, like those times he called raises in HU pots with lo draws that had very little high potential and was basically playing for his own money. Overall I think he played fine though.

yeah demichele did draw to only the low and no hi a time or two which i thought was perplexing given a FT of that caliber. also scotty was pretty bad by admission @ razz

Wow, from what I saw of him he didn't seem to me as a gentleman or whatever but never played with or whatever so can't really know. But man, this is outrageous... what a huge fucking dickhead... He deserved getting at least a busted nose for all that shit. Got to love the point where Erick Lindgren gets back at him though.
