$1 rebuy donkament on ftp. i know this is like super standard kings to aces, espiecially in a tourney full of complete retards, but given his minraise utg and then shove can i ever fold KK in this kind of spot? It is after the rebuy period.

I suck at writing apparently cause I can't put this into context I like but if you assume no one folds kings pf (really, who does?) then you're never wrong to get your's in too cause they can show up with worse + you will get AAs vs KKs too.

What if it was an utg limp/rrai? I find that it's like 70/30 between AA/AK there (I never see anything else) so wouldn't KK be a dog against that range (even at 50/50)? I personally never fold kings pre-flop but I've been thinking about doing it there.

yeah if your experience honestly tells you that you're up against 70% AA then you should fold, but i'd ask for others' opinions about that read first. but yeah i mean any time you are pretty sure that your opponent has AA almost all the time, you should fold KK preflop (unless already committed by sick odds or something)...it's just really rare to make that read.

but yeah imo you're gonna see random dumb stuff like A4, 66, etc. far too often to fold here. i wouldn't even consider folding for a second. BUT i do think that, in a different world or a different tournament, i would consider folding. consider.

well my friend folded kings preflop on day 1 of borgata 2k deepstack, n the other guy showed aces...then my friend chopped for 300k

so moral of the story is, always fold kings preflop, and you will get $300,000
