[Kd, Qd] would do this....snap call!

just think...would a guy like this be shoving there with a J, or trying to extract more value by 4betting or flatting and betting out the turn?

toss it... if he's a 10nl "reg nit" he most likely put you on an ace and overbet the shit out of the pot holding a jack hoping you would call. no need to get gutsy and call for a buyin unless you got the goods at 10nl. imo

You call is all ova baby

well if he had a J, and was smart, he would try to get the money in on the flop because he doesn't want anyone drawing for a free flush or straight.

i think this is a pretty easy fold if the guy is a reg nit. he isn't shoving here with worse.

ofc i agree 100% with intensedawg <3 plus i used to play nl10 and nl25 with yakshi and he was a fairly consistent reg nit so extra emphasis on the fold. but i guess if hes still playing nl10 maybe he wasnt good. still looks like if he has a playing-style related weakness here its losing value from you and he DOES infact have a jack :O

Wow, I remember this guy when I was first starting out. Like 4 months ago at 10nl...and he's still playing 10nl. D:

I don't think he does this with a draw, your read is accurate. No shame in folding with 1.5 invested. Most of the time we call here though, but you know that. =s

When yakshi does this he has at least a set. Definitely fold.

Yakshi is a regular microstakes player who never plays above 25NL. He's a nice guy and a very decent player... just completely uninterested in anything above microstakes. So don't make the mistake of thinking that he's a donk. He makes obvious overbets because they get called more often than not.

You see this guy grinding NL2 a lot by just playing pocket pairs and shoving them when they make a set. His range here is AA, JJ, AK, and AJ suited.
