bet whatever based on history, you have Ad so you dont have much to worry about. hes on btn so he probably never has ak, and kq will never raise river/will probably fold turn

If you bet 390 ->
I guess: depending on your image, he calls you down with: AQ and A9 and Q9s. (possibly A6ss if thats in his range)
He pushes all in with 99, AA slowplayed, and AK or possibly some combodraw that hit him on the river, like TJcc or just some random TJ that he plays to far.

Also it enables you to fold to a push due to the fact that he(A TAG at 5/10 playing 19/16/2,5) never bluffshoves here!

But if I bet 390,Then I assume I cannot ever fold?I mean I will have to call 300 for a 2k pot,so even if there is some chance he valuraise 2 worse pairs(KQ,A6)or he bluufs I will have to call.So basically I am playing it for stacks,although the river sux.
And my other merit for not betting(because I checked the river)is that if he is a somewhat good,thinking player(I can only assume that from the short HH sample,but solid stats)he can sense weakness in some 250 bet into 560 pot,and bluffshove the rest(thinking I am lightly valuebetting).

So my main question is does a worse hand ever call the river?

if 250 enables a bluffshove then you just bet 250 and call a shove

check/calling is ok too

I'm thinking you're seriously doing something wrong in your overall game if this isn't a crystal clear river bet/fold
