Well you either jam the turn or check and give him a free card, the fact he donks lead the flop into 2 people makes me think he's not on a draw since you say he's kinda passive and would be more inclined into check/calling his draws. I don't hate checking here because he's not folding a lot of his range to your turn shove. |

This is actually pretty hard because he could have hands like QJ/QT/Spadedraw which you want value from but at the same time he could've flopped a straight or something. In the moment I probably check behind and see what happens on the river. If it blanks and he checks to me I probably valuebet like 1/3 pot. |

Lead/call on this kind of board is never nut type hands imo, its almost always some combodraw or pair+fd or str8 draw, Id bet/call here since you are not gonna like all rivers and his hands looks drawy. |

you should only check behind if you think your flop raise was an outrageous spew

If he was raising for value on the flop the turn doesnt change anything so he should bet again, if he doesnt think he gets called by worse he shouldnt have raised the flop. |

that seems to be missing that worse hands could call the raise on flop, then get more info and fold those same calling hands to further bet on turn , no? |
