Your 10/10 games

Only the best up in here.

I'm extremely picky when it comes to games, especially nowadays as I don't keep up anymore. Games these days seem to be a little too hard to just pick up and play casually, so I'm sure when the rest of you list your full tens there's gonna be lots of games that I've just barely heard of but never played.

Anyways, from my first Commodore 64, a gazillion of consoles, to hi-tech PC's.. I can only give out three full tens. In no particular order, because I love all three games an equal amount:

Super Metroid (SNES)
Fantastic 2D adventure. Perfection, pushing the SNES to the max.

Starcraft : Brood War
I don't think any RTS will ever top this.. not in playability or in balance. Not even SC2.

Pro Evolution Soccer 6
I had to pick one game from the PES series and it had to be PES6. Pure footballing fun.

I'm usually not too fond of single player games because I prefer playing with friends or online, but one single player game that owns imo is Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay to the Xbox. It simply rocks and is actually if not the best on of the best single player games I've played. I also liked Mario Galaxy, and I play PES06 almost everyday with friends and online. A good recipe for a great night is starting out with having pizza with friends-> playing pes -> drinking and gambling at the casino getting drunk and obnoxious towards all the live suckies -> go out -.-v

I also enjoyed Halo 2... Diddy Kong Racing to n64.. Super Mario Bros 3.. hm hm

D2/ FF7/War3

Its pretty tough to try to get good games that i like these days especially for the pc which sort of makes me unhappy because i dont own a console.

COD4 is sorta extremely gay theres not that much of an edge in the game (online) especially on the larger servers where u have like grenades thrown everywhere all the time and air strikes randomly raping you.. Because of this i can't really play/enjoy it for more than like 30 minutes. They also have a serious problem with a lot of the maps which just adds to the crapshoot style game it is ; Also, HARDCORE MODE? who the fuck thought up the ability to die in like 1 hit, A+ retard.

I'd like to see a new COD game with the same old world war type style to it. God damn it, i know its OLD but its such a fucking sick formula that updating it even for graphics sake is going to be worth it. Just get some good maps/multiplayer game play going and it'll be a winner. Those are the games i've had he most enjoyment from in the last like 5-6 years or so.

Okay crysis has v.good single player (probably the best atm, altho havent tried GTA4 yete) and i've actually not tried that online (might try that in a moment actually) but generally its a pretty damn solid game single player but single player gets boring fast.

Half life 2 is decent both online and single player but once you play some of the newer games like Crysis and CoD4 it really just makes HL2 seem utterly shit and actually quite awkward/non fluent at several times during the game. Its sorta epic though and i def got satisfaction for $ out of it.

Garry's mod (mod for HL2 etc) is pretty damn good if you play the Zombie/Human server online and dont make stupid cars out of chairs or whatever. I actually play that quite a lot.

Team Fortress 2 i play rarely now but i had a lot of fun when i just started playing it and still do it from time to time with Foolsplay.

F.E.A.R i havent played in a while but i may actually pick up a copy now that i've thought about it. Its got quite a lot of skillful play

WoW just completely crushes nearly all other PC games i've played, theres like nothing like exploring new places, talking to guild members, trying to aim for new loot from raids and just trying to get a really bad ass character. Its constantly updating though which means you've just got to have the discipline to stop because you cant win It just takes up so much time though which is why i dont play it

Don't buy alone in the dark. Piece of shit game.

Some upcoming games im looking forward to are GTA4 (on PC), wrath of the lich king, sc2 and Alan Wake. I havent researched many others really but theres probably a couple decent ones in there.
